Why Adverts?

This is something I wanted to mention before I’m asked.

Why, on a hobby website, are there adverts?

While this is a hobby website, my hobby takes up a large amount of my time as well as taking up a lot of resources, and even other people’s time, to make sure I can keep going – especially when this is not a full time job, and likely never will be.

Websites (this is not a free one), web hosting, equipment (especially when things break), and new games to keep up with other YouTubers are just some of the costs involved. While we have tried to keep the adverts to an absolute minimum, they will hopefully support me with some of these costs and allow me to grow into my hobby.

They are also done via adsense, which is one of the requirements for YouTube partnership, which I’d like to aim for some day.
